Panasonic Z95A
Zeke Jones / Digital Trends

OLED TVs are tailor-made for movie buffs, gaming diehards, and anyone who wants a TV that can emulate the kind of visuals usually reserved for dark movie theaters. For years, brands like LG, Samsung, and Sony have been making some of the best OLED TVs on the market, including award-winning models like the LG G4 Series, Samsung S95D, and Sony A95L. While some of these sets can be pretty expensive, we’re always on the lookout for the best OLED TV deals, and frequently update this post to shine a light on the best TV prices in town.

If you’re looking for something on the brighter side, we recommend taking a look at our list of the best QLED TV deals. We also have coverage of the best LG TV deals, best Samsung TV deals, and best Sony TV deals.

Samsung 55-inch S85D OLED 4K TV — $1,100 $1,700 35% off

This week, you’ll be able to nab the Samsung 55-inch S85D Series for only $1,100 at Amazon, which is a $600 discount from its $1,700 MSRP. The S85D delivers excellent colors and contrast, especially when placed in a darker room. Features like the TV’s native 120Hz refresh rate, plus VRR and ALLM support, make the S85D a great choice for gaming, too. While not as bright or detail-oriented as the Samsung S90D or S95D models, the Samsung S85D is still a stunning TV we’d be more than happy to call our own!

LG 77-inch G4 OLED 4K TV — $3,300 $3,500 5% off

As far as the markdown goes, the $3,300 (sale price) LG 77-inch G4 Series is one of the best OLED TV deals, even though it’s only $200 less expensive than normal. Mind you, this is LG’s 2024 flagship model, and one of the biggest sizes, too.

We called the LG G4 Series “a triumph of modern television engineering,” and these are words we don’t speak lightly. A true marvel of an OLED, the LG Gallery Series (that’s what the G stands for) boasts an ultra-slim chassis that bodes well for wall-mounting. The TV even comes with LG’s Slim Wall Mount to get the TV as close to your living room wall as possible!

The LG G4 delivers arresting picture quality with better brightness levels than some midrange LED TVs on the market. Color accuracy and contrast levels are simply off the charts, especially when watching 4K HDR content. The G4 Series also rocks a native 120Hz refresh rate and full HDMI 2.1 connectivity, making it one of the best TVs for gaming

LG 55-inch C4 OLED 4K TV — $1,200 $1,500 20% off

Hanging out one rung below LG’s 2024 G4 flagship is the incredible LG C4 Series OLED. Right now, you’ll be able to score the 55-inch version of this model for only $1,200, a $200 markdown from its usual $1,400 price. Our review team said, “This LG OLED EVO C4 is so good, we think that everyone should have this TV.” The LG C4 has many of the same picture specs and features as the G4 Series, though the latter is a brighter OLED with better HDR performance.

We also noticed a slight green tinge when viewing the TV from an angle, so you’ll want to make sure you’re sitting as centered with the screen as possible.

LG 65-inch C3 OLED 4K TV — $1,200 $1,500 20% off

Want to save even more on an LG OLED? Look no further than the LG 65-inch C3 Series, a 2023 holdover you can still buy brand-new. And today, it’s marked down to $1,200 from its $1,500 MSRP, so you’ll be saving yourself another $300. The LG C3 gets bright enough when watching SDR and HDR content to contend with ambient illumination, such as lamps and sunlight. The C3 also delivers phenomenal colors and contrast, as well as fantastic picture upscaling. The set doesn’t get as bright as models like the LG C4 or LG G4 Series, but it’s still a great buy that delivers arresting home theater visuals.

LG 48-inch B4 OLED 4K TV — $600 $700 14% off

Now for a mid-sized LG OLED! The 48-inch LG B4 Series is available at Best Buy for only $600 this week. That’s a $100 discount off its retail price of $700. Perfect for a small to medium-sized viewing space, the LG B4 brings rich, stunning colors to the table, along with the inky black levels we’re all accustomed to seeing from the best OLED TVs. Sitting one rung below the C4 Series, the B4 model is a little less bright and not as adept when it comes to image upscaling, but it’s still a fantastic TV for watching 4K HDR movies and playing video games.

Samsung 42-inch S90D OLED 4K TV — $1,000 $1,400 28% off

The Samsung 42-inch S90D is one of the best OLED TVs for gaming, and a natural choice for a PC monitor. Today, this model goes for $1,000, which is a $400 markdown from its $1,400 retail. With its native 144Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 connectivity, and built-in Game Mode for reduced lag, this Samsung OLED delivers remarkable HDR performance, too. It even gets bright enough to fight glare in a well-lit room, and has a wide viewing angle, though we can’t imagine you’ll have a ton of people huddled around this small of a screen.

Sony 65-inch A95L QD-OLED 4K TV — $2,900 $3,500 17% off

We were floored by the Sony A95L QD-OLED when we reviewed this bad boy a few years back. Our review says it best: “The Sony A95L is the best television of 2023. Full stop.” There’s a reason you can still buy this set brand-new two years after it was released, and we’re glad to see the 65-inch size is marked down to $2,900 from its $3,500 retail. Get ready for near-flawless picture quality, complete with bright and arresting colors, detail-oriented upscaling, plus numerous gaming optimizations and smart TV features. Save $600 when you purchase today!

Sony 55-inch Bravia 8 OLED 4K TV — $1,400 $1,700 17% off

Released in 2024, the Sony 55-inch Bravia 8 Series is on sale this week for $1,400, which is $300 less than its normal price of $1,700. We said the Sony Bravia 8 “is the Sony OLED TV most folks should buy”, an opinion we still stand by in 2025. The Bravia 8 looks fantastic right out of the box, and delivers the kind of near-perfect contrast levels we’d expect from a company with movie and TV show divisions. Get ready for beautiful colors, great motion clarity, and stunning HDR highlights. Do keep in mind that the TV doesn’t have the best reflection handling, though, so lamps and other ambient light sources may need to be relocated or adjusted.

Panasonic 65-inch Z95A OLED 4K TV — $2,500 $3,200 21% off

The Panasonic Z95A Series is another Digital Trends favorite, and it just so happens that the 65-inch size is on sale this week for $2,500, which is a whopping $700 discount off its $3,200 MSRP. We said the Panasonic Z95A “is one of the top 5 TVs ever made”, and we haven’t stopped singing its praises. This TV has a wide color gamut that truly shines when fed any 4K HDR signal. You’ll also be treated to phenomenal contrast levels, terrific motion clarity, and modern gaming must-haves like HDMI 2.1 connectivity and VRR support. And while it’s a little bulkier than most other sets on the market, that’s only because it includes a built-in 5.1 soundbar, too!

Sansui 55-inch OLED 4K TV — $860

Here’s the deep cut of the bunch: Right now, when you purchase the Sansui 55-inch OLED at Amazon, you’ll only pay $860. Technically, this TV isn’t actually on sale, but the price was so low we would have felt wrong not including it in this OLED roundup. While not a brand we hear from all too often, this Sansui OLED delivers solid picture quality, complete with arresting colors and near-perfect contrast. It’s also incredibly adept for modern gaming, thanks to its HDMI 2.1 connectivity, fast response time, and native 120Hz refresh rate. This isn’t the easiest TV to find, so we wouldn’t be surprised if this Amazon deal disappears sooner rather than later.

How we chose the best OLED TV deals

Narrowing down the best OLED TV deals is a fairly straightforward process. OLED, for the most part, is a premium picture quality, and not every TV brand has an OLED TV in its lineup. The three brands that do make OLED TVs and regularly see them discounted are LG, Samsung, and Sony. We consider each of these brands one of the best TV brands on the market and the OLED image they produce are up there as well. The fact that they can be counted on for regular price drops keeps our attention on them.

But pricing is, of course, another factor when it comes to choosing the best OLED TV deals. We keep an eye out for potential lower starting price points than can be found among LG, Sony, and Samsung OLED TVs. But OLED TVs are relatively expensive, so when choosing the best OLED TV deals we’re looking for discounts that bring the price down as much as possible. If you’re shopping for a TV in the price range OLED TVs hang out in you’re almost certainly guaranteed to be landing a quality brand and large set of features, so our number one goal when selecting the best OLED TV deals is getting that price down as much as possible.

Should you buy an OLED TV or a QLED TV?

When it comes down to ensuring you’re purchasing a television with the best picture quality in the game, you want to make sure you go with either an OLED TV or a QLED TV. These are the top technologies currently on the market, and while they differ in the way they produce the image, they are somewhat similar when it comes to the quality of the final output.

OLED TVs are typically able to be made slightly thinner than QLED TVs, so OLED is something to consider if aesthetics are part of your TV shopping equation. Another thing to consider is whether or not you have a favorite TV brand. OLED TVS can be found amongst models made by brands like LG, Vizio, Sony, Philips, and Panasonic, while Samsung offers its own version of OLED technology known as QD-OLED.

Both QLED and OLED have their own sets of pros and cons. OLED typically wins out when it comes to viewing angles, deep black levels, and power consumption. If you’re looking for a TV to gather around with friends and family, OLED is the way to go. As well, OLED is a great technology for gaming, so if you’re planning to set up a new PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, an OLED TV is likely to give you the better experience.
