The best 17-inch laptop deals from HP, LG, Razer, and more

If you don’t find the 15.6-inch screen size of the average laptop convenient or big enough, then you can absolutely go for a bigger screen, with a lot of great options. The laptop industry has boomed a lot in the past few years, and now you’ll find a lot of 17-inch laptop options. In fact, a lot of the best laptop brands are putting out 17-inch laptops and even larger sizes, although the largest is probably Dell’s m18 gaming laptop, and that can get quite pricey, so you’re going to want to grab these laptops on sale.

To that end, we’ve gone out and found some of our favorite 17-inch laptop deals out there, including HP laptop deals, Dell laptop deals (and Dell XPS laptop deals), and gaming laptop deals.

HP

HP makes a huge range of laptop models to suit various needs, and this regularly places it among the best laptop brands. This 17.3-inch HP laptop is on the entry-level end of the model lineup, though it does have some slightly upgraded specs for getting your work or studies done throughout the day. It checks in with 16GB of RAM and a blazing-fast 512GB solid-state drive. It also has an Intel Core i7-150U processor and Intel Graphics. While these are closer to the entry-level range, this laptop can still get things done. You’ll also find Windows 11 preinstalled to ensure you’re up and running in no time after breaking it out of the box.

MSI Stealth 17 — $1,239 $1,799 31% off

MSI

While MSI may be more well-known for making motherboards and graphics card variations, it also makes a pretty great gaming laptop, such as the MSI Stealth 17. Impressively, it has an RTX 3060 under the hood, which is perfect for 1080p gaming and can also handle some 2K gaming at a lower refresh range and graphical settings. It also comes with one of the most powerful CPUs on the market, the Intel Core i7-12700H, as well as a solid 16GB of RAM, so you’ll absolutely get a smooth overall experience with it.

LG Gram Pro 17-inch laptop — $1,795 $2,400 25% off

LG

The larger footprint of a 17-inch laptop allows for extra room for bulkier, more powerful hardware, and the LG Gram takes advantage of it. Its upgraded specs include 32GB of RAM and a 2TB solid state drive. It also has Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, allowing you to connect dual 4K monitors or a single 8K monitor. Specs like these put this laptop into a near-professional category, yet its price point makes it an option for anybody looking for a capable laptop. Despite its larger screen size, the LG Gram is designed to be ultra-light and portable.

The 18-inch model of the ASUS ROG Strix is maybe a bit bigger, but it shows just what a powerful yet affordable gaming laptop can do. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 9-7845HX processor and 16GB of RAM, as well as a super powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, which will easily handle the 2560 x 1440 resolution. A full 1TB of solid-state storage should be plenty to house even the best PC games. This laptop also features the ROG intelligent cooling system that will keep you gaming for hours on end without overheating.

GIGABYTE AORUS 17 — $1,711 $2,000 14% off

If you want a solid mid-range gaming laptop that doesn’t come from one of the big names, then this GIGABYTE AORUS 17 is the perfect way to go. It has an RTX 4070, which may struggle a little bit with the QHD resolution, especially if you try to push it to its truly impressive 240 Hz refresh rate. That said, it does give you some leeway to prioritize the graphics or the refresh rate if you’d like to play more competitive games from time to time. As for the processor you get an Intel Ultra 7 155H, and combined with the 16GB of RAM, should be more than enough to give you a silky smooth day to day experience. Unfortunately, you will need a My Best Buy Plus membership to get this discount.

ASUS TUF A17 gaming laptop —  $1,171 $1,250 6% off

Asus

While the ASUS TUF A17 might not be the most powerful 17-inch laptop, it’s a great entry-level option for those who also want to have a little bit of gaming capability. It has an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, which is a mid-range option that is perfect for those who need something for work and creativity tasks. The RTX 4050 under the hood is also pretty great and will run the FHD resolution pretty well, even potentially hitting the 144Hz refresh rate it is capable of. The 16GB of DDR5 RAM is also certainly appreciated, since it’s not always easy to find that on a gaming laptop at this price range.
