Netflix is one of the most popular streaming services in the world with 300 million subscribers. And just what do those people tend to watch? In particular, what is the most popular movie on Netflix? Each week, the streaming service releases a list of its 10 most-watched movies over a recent seven-day period to keep subscribers informed about its most popular titles.

Tyler Perry is starting to dominate Netflix with his original movies and shows. His new film, Straw starring Taraji P. Henson, is the No. 1 movie of the week. Four of the first five movies — Straw, Now You See MeWrath of the Titans, and Now You See Me 2 — are new films. Below, we’ve listed the top 10 movies in the U.S. from June 2 to June 8, along with general information about each film, such as genre, rating, cast, and synopsis.

The popular Minions return in Despicable Me 4. After spending years as a villain, Gru (Steve Carell) is now a secret agent for the Undercover Anti-Villain League (AVL). While attending a class reunion, Gru runs into his old rival, Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell). After learning Maxime enhanced himself with cockroach body parts, Gru had him arrested and sent to prison.

The incarceration does not last long after Maxime escapes prison and goes after Gru and his family. Forced into hiding, Gru and his family move to a safe house in a new town. Gru must devise a plan to stop Maxime from turning his son into a cockroach hybrid.

Ciryl Gane is the former interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. Gane is now trying his hand at acting as the star of a new French action film, K.O. Gane plays Bastien, a former MMA fighter who leaves the sport after delivering a tragic blow to his opponent, Enzo. The grief subsumes Bastien, especially since Enzo’s wife (Anne Azoulay) and son (Maleaume Paquin) witnessed the fight.

As a result, Bastien quits MMA and elects to work in a salt mine as his penance. When Enzo’s son goes missing, his wife recruits Bastien to help find him. Wanting to make up for his mistakes, Bastien teams with police captain Kenza Alaoui (Alice Belaïdi) to save the boy from a life of crime.

When Detective Eva Torres (Carmen Machi) is assigned to the case, she makes the startling revelation that Maje hasn’t been telling the truth. Her alibi has several holes in it. Maje’s story doesn’t hold up, but what is she hiding? The truth will set you free, and in the case of A Widow’s Game, it will uncover a shocking secret.
